You minded me of greed; I saw you reading In the bloating belly of the bus. Morsels of passenger lurched down Its open throat to seats, Glutton brown and surfeit green. Your body curled around the book, Devoured it like a cob; The fat words flew off the pages, Stuffed themselves in your gob. |
